Miss České republiky ((英語:Miss Czech Republic)) was a national beauty pageant in Czech Republic and now changed in Czech Miss (2009-present)〔 ==History== Before Miss Czech Republic existed, there was a similar pageant that took place between 1966 and 1979, known as ''Girl of the Year''. Alžběta Štrkulová, a popular TV presenter in the Czech Republic, won in 1967. At the time, she was the most successful titleholder in the Eastern bloc. Unfortunately, this competition was banned by communist regime. Miss Czech Republic used to send its winner to Miss Universe or Miss Europe, after a while only sent it to Miss World, then to neither. It would also choose representatives to international competitions like Miss International, ''Miss Intercontinental, Miss Model of the year, Queen of the World'' and ''Miss Maja International''. Miss Czech Republic began in 1989 under the name ''Miss Czechoslovak Socialist Republic''. In 1990 the competition was renamed ''Miss Czechoslovak Federative Republic''. In 1993, when Czechoslovakia split into two countries (the Czech Republic and Slovakia), the competition was renamed ''Miss Czech and Slovak Republic''. Since 1994 it became ''Miss České republiky'', organized by director Miloš Zapletal between 1989 and 2008. In 2009, Miss World 2006, Taťána Kuchařová, became the new director. In 2005, former titleholder Michaela Maláčová founded rival competition Česká Miss, which now sends representatives to Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Earth. In 2010, the two organizations signed an agreement of partnership, where the two rival organizations would have Maláčová as president. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Miss Czech Republic」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
